Don and Billie Ferguson

50 Years in the Making

Don Ferguson moved to Graham, Texas in 1946. Don swore in the fifth grade that Billie Cumpton would be his future wife. They were friends and went to the same country church. On Prom night Don asked Billie to be his wife and gave her a ring. One month later, June 22, 1958 they married in a small ceremony in the Church Parsonage. Their marriage was witnessed by two high school friends and one of the Bride's sisters.

The next year, March 29, 1959 Don and Billie Ferguson welcomed their first son, Gail Don.

On October 13, 1960, their only daughter, Brenda Lee become apart of their growing little family.

Barry Wayne came along July 05, 1963. (Billie was able to choose his birth date and didn't want his birthday on July 4th)

Charles Maurice (Marty) became the final son on October 08, 1964.

With their family now completed they lived in Stamford, Texas until 1970. From 70-73 the Ferguson family lived in Miles, Texas. At the end of 1973 the family moved to Spur. While Don worked at WTU, Billie worked at the local department store and kept her home.

In 1995, Don Ferguson retired from West Texas Utilities Company. Don and Billie bought a ranch and moved to McCaulley, Texas where they currently reside on the Buffalo Wallow Ranch.

(Buffalo Wallow Ranch is the best huntin' place this side of the Brazos)

We are celebrating Don and Billie's 50th Wedding Anniversary with a reception in their honor. Everyone is invited. We look forward seeing you there! (This reception will be semi-casual)
